Guided snowshoe hike
During the winter season it is great to take a hike to a peak in Porsanger while wearing snowshoes. From this view at the top you will have a view over the wide and quiet Lakselv Valley and notice the turns of Lakselva River. In the distance, you will see the amazing frozen fjord as well. For those of us who are not experienced with skis, this is a perfect way of visiting and exploring the winter mountain. There is always the option of having some of my Greenlandic sled dogs join on us on the tour.

Lavvo experience
We welcome you to spend an evening inside our warm and cozy lavvo, where we will serve you a traditional meal made on the stove inside. Here, you can relax on soft reindeer skins and let the sound of silence wash over your body and soul. Our friendly sled dogs will be sleeping outside in the snow and waiting for you to come and share a hug. Perhaps a full moon will shine down upon us or you will experience the magical northern lights.
For those wanting to sleep overnight, we provide you with appropriate winter sleeping bags, so you will be plenty warm and comfortable. Wake up to the smell of fresh coffee, where we will serve you a delicious homemade breakfast.

Sleep under the stars & northern lights
Join me on this unique experience and sleep outside in the wild arctic nature – without a tent or a tarp, only crystal clear air between your face and the big bright shining stars and if we’re lucky, the northern lights. Let your dreams come true!
We’ll head out in the afternoon with our outdoor gear, a warm sleeping bag, food and enter the wilderness. We’ll find a cosy spot in the middle of the pine tree forest, where we’ll set up camp alongside our furry four-legged friends. We’ll enjoy a tasty meal around the campfire before getting cosy in our sleeping bags. Here you’ll be able to reconnect with nature and fall asleep to the sound of silence.
You’ll wake up to the smell of fresh campfire coffee and enjoy breakfast while still comfortable in your sleeping bag. When we are ready, we will head back to civilisation.

Off-piste cross-country sking
Would you like to go off trail and explore the arctic wilderness? This guided off-piste cross country skiing tour is great for experienced skiers and also those new to the sport. Let me show you the pearls of Porsanger, while listening to the sound of the skis as they glide through the snow. Discover the beautiful wild landscape of the arctic and feel the crisp air that hugs our noses and turns it red.
This tour includes a break where we will enjoy our lunch around a campfire.

Dog fun - Explore Finnmark with Greenlandic dogs
Have great fun exploring Porsanger with our four-legged fury friends! For those with skiing experience, try out skijouring – our sled dogs will be happy to pull you along whilst on your skis – a thrilling experience in the arctic wilderness!
Or why not try our kicksleds and race along in the snow. Our friendly greenlandic dogs love to be outside and they’ll be plenty of time for cuddles too!

Ice fishing in Porsanger
Test out your skills and try your hand as an ice-fisherman! We will take you to an idyllic lake, either hidden amongst the forest or out in the arctic tundra. Depending on the weather conditions, we will take you to a suitable spot, where you can get cosy on reindeer fur and see what fish will bite. Perhaps you will catch a trout or an arctic char? Ice-fishing isn’t a numbers game, but we’re sure you’ll enjoy the moment and appreciate the magical silence of the nature around you.

Yes, providing you are staying within Porsanger. Otherwise I may be able to arrange pick up / drop off for an additional fee.
A hot drink and snack is provided on all tours over 2+ hours. For longer tours and experiences a meal is provided.
